STURGEON FISHING - Pacific Northwest Sturgeon

Oregon and Washington, located in the Pacific Northwest, have the best sturgeon fishing in the world. You can catch them in the Columbia River, in the estuary near Astoria Oregon, the Willamett River, the Deep River, near Ilwaco, in Tillamook Bay, in Newport Bay, and in Lincoln City Oregon.

The Oregon tributaries that drain into the Pacific Ocean have high populations of sturgeon at specific time of the year. The tributaries include the Willamette River, the Nehalem River, the Rogue River, Tillamook Bay, Coos Bay, the Siletz River, and the John Day River.

Washington has several excellent tributaries that drain into the Columbia River or the Pacific Ocean. These include the Lewis River, Cowlitz River, Kalama River, Chehalis River, and Willapa Bay.

We fish the Columbia River and its tributaries all the way from Bonneville Dam to Buoy 10 near Astoria Oregon where the Columbia flows into the Pacific Ocean.

The Buoy Ten fishery is one of the hottest spots for catching Salmon anywhere in the World!

We catch keeper Sturgeon and trophy Sturgeon from 42' to 60' long.

Fishing for Coho Salmon, Silvers, Chinook Salmon and Fall Chinook and the hard fighting Steelhead during peak times of the year can really produce some hot action so book your trip early for the best times.
